Mad Max Charter Fishing and Island Tours
Flats Fishing
The coral reef surrounding Roatan and the Bay Islands is the second largest living coral reef in the world.
This enviornment creates a system of shallow areas in between the reef and the shore of the islands that
are protected from the offshore waves by the reef.
It is in these areas that fish such as tarpon, permit, snapper and of course the famous bonefish are found.
Whether you prefer light spinning tackle or are an avid fly fisherman, these waters are perfect for anyone
who enjoys flats fishing and sight fishing.

The Sandy Bay area of Roatan (above) offers
some of the finest bonefish flats in the world.
You will spend the day in a small skiff with an experienced guide who can spot fish for you while you cast.
Need some pointers on fly casting? We can arrange that to get you back up to speed before you get out
on the flats again!
